Lake Vermilion is one of the most beautiful lakes you will ever see! With its 365 islands, interesting rock formations, trees, wildlife, and abundance of fish, Vermilion has been one of Minnesota's premier vacationing and fishing destinations for many, many decades. Lake Vermilion is located in the Arrowhead Region of Minnesota and bordering the Superior National Forest and BWCA to its north, stretching between the towns of Cook on west and Tower on the east. As the fifth largest lake in Minnesota, it has nearly 40,000 acres of water and 1200 miles of shoreline. Mike on Lake Vermilion
My departure point is the Timbuktu Marina, located centrally on the lake and also the site of a public access launch. I am available to fish the west end, east end, and everything in between! Let me know where you are staying and I will pick you and your party up at the dock.
